Milwaukee Riverkeeper is a science-based advocacy organization working to protect water quality and wildlife habitat and advocate for sound land management in the Milwaukee River Basin. We are working for clean, fishable, swimmable, and drinkable waters that all people can access and enjoy.
We are a grassroots initiative building the foundations for a UNESCO Global Geopark for all of Georgian Bay.
Grand Traverse Bay and all its waterways make our area truly unique and admired. As a local non-profit, The Watershed Center is passionate about safeguarding the beautiful waters of Grand Traverse Bay and our inland lakes and streams for all to enjoy. Our mission is to advocate for clean water in Grand Traverse Bay and work to preserve and protect its watershed. Guided by research and data, our scientists and policy experts are leading the discussion on water protection and restoration in our region.

Save The River, a member-based, nonprofit environmental organization, has been the “voice for the St. Lawrence River” in the U.S. and Canada since 1978. Save The River’s mission has always been to restore, preserve and protect the ecological integrity of the Upper St. Lawrence River through advocacy, education and research. In 2004, Save The River was designated the Upper St. Lawrence Riverkeeper and became a member of the International Waterkeeper Alliance with the goal of a swimmable, fishable, drinkable river.

Lake Ontario Waterkeeper is the longest running initiative of Swim Drink Fish. Waterkeeper promotes water literacy, informed-decision making and acts as a model for protecting swimmable, drinkable, fishable water in Canada and beyond.
