We as an Ojibway First Nation have come a long way since 1962 when we were established by Ontario Order-in-Council transferred 32 acres at MacDiarmid to the Federal Government to be set apart as a reserve for Rocky Bay. We had a name change to Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek (BZA) in 2006.

Urban Rivers is a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming urban waterways into wildlife sanctuaries. Working within existing infrastructure, we install floating habitats populated with native wetland species. These floating parks serve as platforms for education, recreation, and research.
